This creates a pattern that resembles the shape of a box, hence the name “box breathing.” To perform box breathing, follow these steps: Find a comfortable seated position, with your feet flat on the ground and your hands resting on your lap. If you are on a plane, try to find a seat where you can sit comfortably and have enough space to move your arms. Take a deep breath in through your nose, counting to four as you inhale.
